The published worst drawdown is −38.9% and the worst single week is −21.1%. You can lose a large portion of your capital. Only risk capital you can afford to lose belongs anywhere near a strategy like this.

Performance figures are historical backtests on real data since 2010 (the inception of TQQQ). Backtested results have inherent limitations: they're computed with hindsight, they don't reflect every real-world cost (slippage, spreads, taxes, tracking error), and they describe a single historical path that strongly favored leveraged technology. Past performance does not predict future results. Live results will differ, and may differ greatly.

We do not splice in modeled pre-2010 leverage. The record is exactly as long as the real instrument. This is deliberate honesty, not a guarantee — it simply means our sample contains no 2008-style crisis for leveraged tech.
